Overview
The Sangyong Musso claims to be Australia’s first dual-cab ute with a 7-year unlimited-kilometer warranty, which is a very impressive boast, especially for tradies who travel a lot. This is one of those cars that grows on you the longer you stare at it. It boasts a new and fresh front grille, plenty of power from its 2.2 litre turbo diesel engine, and is reasonably priced, with a drive-away price in the mid-thirties.
There are two models of the Sangyong Musso to consider, the basic and the XLV, with something for everyone in the range. The basic version provides enough room for day-to-day use, but the XVL version adds a 300mm longer tub with an extra 251l rear tub capacity, as well as a 110mm longer wheelbase, for owners who need to haul larger loads. The payload on the ELX XLV variant increases from 790kg to 1025kg, up from 790kg on the basic Musso.
