With small SUVs all the rage these days, Peugeot has thrown its hat into the ring with the e-2008, a battery-electric take on the fan-favourite 2008 compact SUV platform. The e-2008 comes packaged with a 50kWh battery pack that offers up to 328km of range on the WLTP test cycle, with a single electric motor mounted up front offering a leisurely sprint up to 100km/h in 9.0 seconds. Around town, the e-2008 excels thanks to its short wheelbase platform, lightweight steering and eager handling that makes it a charmer, even if it’s not the fastest car on the road.
