Overview
The Model 3 has played a key role in Tesla’s rapid growth around the world. Following in the footsteps of the larger, more premium and more expensive Model S sedan, the Model 3 was designed as a more cost-effective means of joining the electric revolution. Fresh off a major update, the Tesla Model 3 looks sharper than ever and comes packaged with a long list of clever tech and unique features, including a massive 15.4-inch infotainment system. Tesla offers the Model 3 in three flavours, including a RWD base model, Long Range AWD mid-range version and a flagship Model 3 Performance that can sprint to 100km/h in just 3.1 seconds. The base model picks up a 60kWh battery pack offering 513km of range, increasing to 629km in the Long Range AWD with the larger 79kWh battery pack, the latter of which sees DC fast-charging speeds increase from 170kW up to 250kW. Step inside and the Model 3’s interior is spacious for its modest footprint, while excellent boot space figures of 594 - 685L make it particularly practical for family buyers.
