Overview
The most significant aspect of the Tesla Model 3’s overall design is its safety. For optimal strength in every location, the metal construction is made up of a combination of aluminum and steel. Even with an all-glass roof, the Model 3 withstood four times its own mass in a roof-crush test: that’s the same weight as two full-grown African elephants.
Dual motor all-wheel drive, 20” Überturbine Wheels, Performance Brakes, and lowered suspension are available on the Model 3 for total control in all weather conditions. A carbon fiber spoiler increases stability at high speeds, all of which enables the Model 3 to go from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.3 seconds.
