The Lamborghini name comes from its founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini who was a hugely successful designer, engineer and mechanic and whose first vehicles were actually tractors designed for farm use. After purchasing a Ferrari, Ferruccio Lamborghini was reportedly dissapointed with the vehicle, and after complaining to its founder, Enzo Ferrari, Lamborghini decided he would build his own supercars, sold under the Lamborghini family’s name.
