Overview
GWM’s Cannon Alpha has been designed to showcase plug-in hybrid technology in a tough, work and off-road-ready package. Headlining a lengthy list of improvements over the standard Cannon Ute range is the new 2.0-litre turbo-diesel plus electric motor powertrain that kicks out 300kW of power and a monstrous 750Nm of torque which offers up to 3,500kg of towing power. With a large 37.1kWh battery sitting underneath the tray, the GWM Cannon Alpha can drive up to 110km entirely via the electric motor, while a sleek and practical cabin design filled with technology looks set to keep the whole family comfortable on a long trip.
