2025 BMW i4
The BMW i4 has been designed to give buyers a slice of the company’s battery-electric future in a familiar form factor. Utilising the existing platform and the majority of the styling from the regular 4 Series sedan lineup, the i4 doesn’t shout about its battery-electric beating heart. Instead, it lets the driving do the talking, with the help of three electric motor options that offer great acceleration and lively handling that make it a very fitting member of the BMW lineup in the new EV era.

Overview
BMW’s i4 range gives buyers looking for a European alternative to the usual EV suspects in the segment some serious food for thought. The i4 is offered with a choice of three electric motor options here in Australia, the most powerful of which kicks out 400kW of power and 795Nm of torque that slingshots it up to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Buyers have the choice of a 67kWh or an 84kWh battery pack that offers range figures between 430 - 520km on the WLTP test cycle, as well as 180kW fast charging to keep you on the move. Inside, the i4 offers a sleek and stylish interior filled with lovely materials and the latest technologies, while a healthy amount of real estate in the second row makes it a viable option for family buyers looking for a sporty battery-electric sedan.
